“Homecoming for seniors is a time to reflect how far we’ve come and all the memories and the fun we’ve had,” said senior Roberto Alvarez.

In Homecoming week, there will be involvement of different spirit days, which begins Sept. 10 and ends on Sept. 14. Monday will be Tourist Day, Tuesday will be Character Day, Wednesday will be Mathlete vs. Athlete day, Thursday will be Decade Day and then Friday will be Spirit Day or  wear a Homecoming spirit shirt.

The Homecoming parade will take place Wednesday at Cy Springs to Hopper during sixth and seventh period, and the Homecoming pep rally will be on the football field immediately following the Homecoming parade.  The Homecoming dance will be held from  7:30 -11 p.m. on Saturday, as tickets will be sold during all lunches for $15.

"It has changed a lot, "said physics teacher Julia Kingwell . "It has become more elaborate.. .. when I had Homecoming we used real flowers instead of paper ones."

The Homecoming game will be at 7 p.m. on Friday at the Berry Center versus Bridgeland.

“It’s pretty fun being there with friends and acting the fool, but at the same time  it differs from person-to-person, so for me it’s great; I love it.”  junior Micah Phillips said.
